NATIONAL FILM CHALLENGE
Can I make a film in 48 hours?
Well, it's official, Team GMI is going to make a short film in a weekend. It's all for the National Film Challenge and could give us some pretty good exposure should be win the grand prize ... a premiere in our home town.

More reviews for PotN:
"I really liked this episode. One of HF's best so far."
"Good job all around!!"
"...just watched it...good job James. You and all the folks at HF should be commended."
"Gotta say i'm not a huge star trek fan,but i quite enjoyed this ... Still much better than i can do ... overall very good job,and i wouldn't mind seeing a follow up."
"I really enjoyed this episode, and thought it was a departure from the previous episodes - the bar has been raised. I hope this is a sign to come for ST:HF. The writing and directing were WAY above par for ST:HF. James did a great job! Gee, a story with some depth do it - it's about time! If the producer is smart, he'll hire James as head writer, and BEG him to direct more often. All in all, though, this is by far the best ST:HF ever, and it is well worth seeing. I hope they stay on this course and use this as a stepping stone to a better 4th season. Great job, James!"
"Wow- that was pretty cool. The opening looked very similar to the actual TV series and was well done. I liked this alot James- An engaging story, some nice CGI, cool costumes, nice action... overall very well done."

THE REVIEWS ARE IN
PotN gets sneaked for a few hours, and the reviews are STELLAR
We sneaked PotN in a chat room Monday, and on TheForce.Net's discussion boards for a few hours and the feedback is STELLAR!
I like the attempt of bringing drama and action to this episode. They can't be very long, so bringing as much story, pathos, nuance and backstory into it is challenging enough. It was cool all around. Good work.
The Best yet. Piracy of the Noble raises the bar and the rest of the Hidden Frontier crew MUST repond!
Very professional for an internet flick.
So I'm feelin' pretty good about it!

POTNs WORLD INTERNET PREMIERE
Just got word that POTN will premiere on the internet at HIDDEN FRONTIER perhaps as early as next week!
I've also tossed my hat into the ring to direct another HF episode called "Imminent Danger," and am considering participating in the National Film Challenge, where you make a short film in 48 hours.
And, of course, preproduction on THE SMUGGLER continues.
